Walking Therapy

Walking Therapy is a form of counselling that combines walking outdoors and discussing issues for better problem-solving. Depending on your personal preferences, your provider may also integrate mindfulness which incorporates physical movement and observation of your natural surroundings.


This is a great option for individuals who like to switch things up from regular in-office visits, dislike traditional talk therapy, or wish to lead a more active lifestyle. It is available for any person accessing our services and can be conducted on a basis of your choosing.


Walking Therapy has some limits around confidentiality, including the possibility that someone may see you or overhear discussions. Your provider will do everything possible to protect your confidentiality during these visits, including giving you the opportunity to select walking locations. Should you wish to return to the office, this is also available at any point during your scheduled session.
