Meet Kailua!

She is a gentle, and loving 5 year old Certified Therapy Pug, who has been raised around children and other animals. Kailua is very laid back and loves to cuddle! She attended an 8 week training program with a certified dog trainer and is Certified through Alliance Therapy Dogs.

Kailua works alongside her handler Amanda Trelford, who is a Registered Social Worker with Home Counselling and Wellness. Kailua provides comfort and a calming presence during sessions.

Meet Sunny!

A gentle giant who loves greeting clients at our Brandon office. Sunny enjoys belly rubs and is the perfect size for cuddles during counselling sessions.

He is almost one year old and is on track to getting his full license as a Certified Therapy Animal. He can be found alongside his handler Tessa Small-McPhee, who is a Certified Psychiatric Nurse and Co-Owner with Home Counselling and Wellness. Sunny likes to visit on occasion to help provide support with our clients.
